Every girl, whether she wants to or not gets asked

“When do you want to get married?”

And for many little girls growing up in the western part of out wonderful earth, it’s assumed that the dress will be white, but does it have to be? Of course not, it’s just tradition. Who’s tradition?

This play was written in exploring the invasion of colonials stains on celebratory events.

The play was written with key parts to be adapted for the actress performing. For our scratch at the Liverpool Everyman Playhouse New Works Saturday Scratch in 2023 we worked alongside Giullianna Martinez, and the piece modified to include her Colombian heritage.
